The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Initiative is a comprehensive program including the supply and installation of wind and solar measurement equipment and consultancy services for the implementation of the programme.
The overall objective of the Consultancy Assignment is to contribute to the promotion of socio-economic development based on renewable energy and efficient energy management in the United Republic of Tanzania. Within this overall objective, the specific objective is focused on a dedicated region (Zanzibar) and on the development of renewable energy technology and their application. By this means, the assignment will also contribute to promote implementing energy efficiency programmes and adequate regulatory and institutional developments.
